In this work, I have captured the raw power and dynamism of the human body. Using vibrant colored pencils and precise ink, I wanted to make the energy and complexity of the musculature palpable. A powerful, unique piece at the intersection of science, history, and… contemporary urban art: MUSCLES is an original East German school map from the German Hygiene Museum dating back to 1988, which has been artistically reinterpreted by hand. The anatomical depiction of the human muscular system has been reworked with vibrant neon crayons and luminous neon ink, transforming it into an expressive work of art.
