About this artwork
This is part of the Village Series I painted inspired from a trip to Europe in May 2018. I just loved this image, the colors and flow, and composition. Green buildings, grey cobble stone streets, a large awning protecting it's outside cafe diners. The people looking at each other is what grabbed my attention. Local bearded man watching the tourist, a female walking in shorts. The tourist checking out the locals, one guy looking at me.
