About this artwork

A single red haired gal in a blue tu tu ish dress, turns to look back at viewer while standing next to opening filled with bald group of people all dressed in red.. This gal is daring and refuses to go with the crowd. Painted in oil on 30 x 40 x 1.5 gallery wrapped canvas, sides are continuously painted.

Stacy N is an American artist whose paintings have been widely exhibited in the United States. Her abstract pieces often convey landscapes, which she describes as "unrecognizable places that the mind's eye can get lost in". Whereas, N considers her figurative compositions as conversation pieces. The ties that bind her art is that there is rarely a focal point and her lines are never straight, because, as she puts it, "so is life".
