Stefan Noss works with diverse media such as oil, etching, collage, and mixed media; his artistic journey has taken him from university studies in Vienna and Düsseldorf to international exhibitions. His technique is experimental and process-oriented: he combines sketches, dabs of color, scraps of paper, and bold textures to create expressive, multi-layered visual worlds with the human head as a central motif. His works convey intense, moving emotions that oscillate between expressiveness, vulnerability, and the search for inner peace.
