About this artwork
The image shows line-shaped repair work of asphalt cracks, from single motifs composed tar signs on the underground of the asphalt. Every street has its own micro climate, its own com-pound and depth of the road surface, its own character of weathering and renovation.

I was born in Munich, Germany. After studies of medicine, I was for many years the head of Spinal Neurosurgery at the Neurosurgical Clinic of the University of Munich (LMU). Since 2019 I am working as a neurosurgeon in own practice in Munich. Since many years I am engaged in photography, especially in composite photoworks, com-posings. My series treat themes, I am facing daily, as my former workplace in the University Hospital of Munich, subway stations and scenes of Munich, and the ways and streets, we are moving on.
All images are established from high resolution files for large formats and highest demands on exposure of details. The prints are offered in various formats and limited edition sizes on Aludibond behind glass.
