About this artwork
In this painting, I played with geometric forms and symbolic abstraction to capture the feeling of a complex labyrinth. The acrylic paints add depth and texture, creating movement and tension. I wanted to show how order and chaos unite in a dance – it brings energy and a captivating dynamism to any space.
Stefania Pinsone, a painter and illustrator born in Rome with a solid academic background in Fine Arts and Art History, works primarily with metallic or phosphorescent acrylics on aluminum supports that withstand outdoor exposure, such as balconies and gardens, reflecting natural light and creating diverse chromatic effects. Her painting technique blends figurative and abstraction in a post-internet symbolism, creating three-dimensional effects and richly lustrous glazes. Her works explore the perceptual dynamics and complexity of the human psyche, conveying profound emotions and a rediscovery of classical beauty immersed in the contemporary. As an illustrator, she currently works for the renowned American custom design company Letterfest and is represented by the Swiss art gallery Filoarte in Lugano.
