This painting illustrates the story of Pet leaving the boat to walk on the water to go to Jesus.
Ather feeding 5000 people, he went into the mountain to pray. He sent his disciples to cross the lake without him.
During their crossing, a storm pops up, hindering their efforts to row toward land.
Jesus catches up with them by walking across the lake by walking on water.
At the sight of Jesus walking on the water, they though He was a ghost.
Peter… said to Jesus," if it's really you, invite me to walk out on the water with you.
When the storm wailed Peter was gripped by fear, and he began to sink.
