About this artwork
Last 2020 year changed the approach to his paintings. The surreal time he leaves, plus heavy Flu (Not Corona) and surgery due to dental infection, changed his view of the world. He has become a lot more spiritual, and if that's the reason, he doesn't know, but he is dreaming a lot more. The reflection of dreams is the basis of surrealists, influenced by Freud's philosophy. In his case, he is not sure if his works are surrealistic.
It is based on… his visions and dreams. That particular painting is a Dream He remembered well, and he thinks it had to tell him something. The imagination and imagery came from somewhere, and he decided to paint what he saw. He thought this could be the song of the moon. What do we know? The life around us is so mysterious that he assumed this was possible.
« My perception of the world is always from a comical point of view. I have reached the conclusion for myself, that what matters the most, is the human ability to laugh. »
