About this artwork
This piece is one of a series of charcoal on recycled cardboard. I have worked with the interplay of light and shadow, using charcoal and chalk to express the fragile, fleeting nature of glass and water. I think the semi-abstract approach captures more than just form—it conveys a quiet, contemplative energy.
