Sumali Piyatissa is an artist based in Sri Lanka who has exhibited her paintings nationally, as well as in Austria, Spain, and the United Kingdom. Through her works, she endeavors to express freedom, positivity, and joy. Piyatissa's preferred medium of choice is oil paints, as she enjoys the freedom it allows for blending colors. In addition, she frequently employs gold leaf and gold dust, conveying an added depth while simultaneously uplifting her pieces.
