Susann Kasten-Jerke is an abstract, experimental painter with a background in architecture. Her work is created in a dynamic process of constant dialogue between material, markings and orientation. This is reflected in delicate, multi-layered constructions made of shapes, colors and materials. In her art, she processes everyday life and events and strives to convey a feeling of lightness. One goal is to immerse the viewer in her world of images, in which thoughts flow and a dialogue can arise. The work process is very important to her - the concentrated immersion in her own world that determines the process. The image is created in constant dialogue, without following a specific idea.
