About this artwork
This work combines the vibrancy of realism with the freedom of abstraction. Using bold acrylic paints, I wanted to capture the energy and vibrant life of a kingfisher, whose details are lost and re-found amidst a turbulent play of colors. It is intended to bring joy and movement to any room, enliven the senses, and invite one to linger. A vibrant play of nature in expression. This is painting II from a series of three.
