About this artwork
The flooding in Emelia Romagna, affected many rivers and tore through the landscape, it was a danger to life and disrupted many homes in Italy in May 23. In creating this painting, I focussed on the broken infrastructure, where to the road no longer crosses the river. The water and the light thrown into a still beautiful landscape, shows a valley transformed.
This piece invites awe and reflection about the strength of gravity and water to change… everything, as well as a conversation pieces about climate change.
