About this artwork
Back to the Future - the painting was painted in 2012, oil, acrylic, canvas. The idea is that the past and the future are connected and merge into each other. The painting depicts a brief moment when a woman on a horse turns back to enter the future. The black curtains at the corners are like the border of the transition to the future. The background is painted in gold acrylic. The golden background gives perspective and a sense of infinity. In… 2012, the painting took 1st place at the Russian Art Week.
I started painting when I reached the age of 40, a period in a person's life when you need to think about your destiny. By that time, I had an education in biochemistry and a PhD degree. The search for his theme and his place in art took quite a lot of time from student work, teaching various techniques and techniques of drawing to today, more than 20 years. My work combines spiritual exploration, symbolism, and contemporary academic art. My paintings are not just images, they are visual reflections on time, eternity, love and human destiny. As a philosopher of art, I explore the theme of the divine principle in man and, as a separate line of my work, the image of an earthly woman and a madona.
