About this artwork
The theme of "women in armor" arose in my art several years ago and immediately became one of the dominant ones, as it reveals imperative and deeply personal experiences, including traumatic experiences.

All the characters are female, symbolically revealing the theory of an individual's personality as a set of multi-personalities that conflict with each other or mutual assistance.

One of the women is dressed in armor that protects her fragile… body, like a shell, solid and beautiful but at the same time constraining and cumbersome. She is not warlike but ready for battle; her closed eyes symbolize total immersion in herself, her inner world, her legs grow into the roots of attachments to earthly life, and the pink wing reveals her true desires.

The nakedness of the other woman is also symbolic - she is not protected from reality even by clothes; her timid gesture is a call for protection and a hope for reunification with the stronger parts of her personality.
