A series of four relief works: White Folds 4, 5, 6, 7. Each piece is made of clay on canvas, measuring 31 × 31 cm.
The series explores the expressive qualities of white color and minimalist form. The monochrome surface forms soft sculptural folds reminiscent of draped fabric. Light and shadow across the relief become the central visual elements, revealing depth and rhythm within the form.
The use of clay transforms the illusion of soft fabric into… a solid, sculptural structure. In the spirit of minimalism, each work reduces the visual language to essential elements—form, light, shadow, and texture—allowing the viewer to focus on the subtle variations of the surface.
Together, the four canvases form a unified series in which variations of folds create a calm rhythm between form, light, and space.
