In this piece, I poured raw emotion through bold strokes and vibrant clashes of blue and fiery hues, capturing a fierce, almost primal gaze. Using acrylic, oil, gouache, and oil pastel on paper, I wanted to express the tension between calm and chaos within the spirit. This work pulses with energy and introspection, inviting your space to feel alive, intense, and deeply reflective.
After the the breakthrough come a lot of emotions, breaking out of… the depression, unhealthy marriage, existence rather than living.
And after surviving all that choas the curiosity awakens, what else is possible?
Svetlana Volk is a painter, drawer, and printmaker with a background deeply intertwined with personal struggle and resilience, having trained both formally and independently across Estonia. She employs techniques of “organized chaos”—from dots, lines, and splashes to coffee stains—transforming randomness into patterns, shapes, or fantastical creatures using acrylics and drawing media. Her artworks pulse with dynamic, ever-shifting forms that invite personal interpretation, designed to heal and guide the viewer through their own emotional landscapes.
