About this artwork
Bluebell woods are a favourite subject for the artist. This painting is a lovely piece which expressively portrays the bluebells in a field on the edge of the woods. A path through the grass leads the eye into the painting. The paint is applied freely and with such expression giving an impressionistic style. Blues turquoise and greens together creating strong image that would bring a touch of Spring freshness into a room.
