About this artwork
A day of soaring heat inspired this semi-abstract imagined landscape. Layers of collage and acrylic paint in hot oranges and reds. A textural piece using various papers some are handmade in Japan. Dress making tissue and magazines as well as decorative papers are also used and create unique intriguing areas. A lovely strong which would make a bold warm statement in a room. The work is finished with a UV filter varnish.
