About this artwork
In this piece, I used bold, fluid ink strokes to capture the spontaneous energy of abstract thought. The overlapping loops and sharp lines reflect the tension and harmony within creativity itself. It breathes movement and invites you to feel the pulse of expression, perfect for energizing any space with a dynamic, contemplative vibe.
Why this painting nominated as " Life " ? Because we are living at a society, our life path is intermingled… with different people with different nationality, belief, religion, character and attitude, our life and thinking is more or less affected by them, but the most important to live our life with our own value system & character, is just like the vertical stroke of the paintings.
Sylvia Wong is a passionate painter and photographer whose artistic roots trace back to childhood art classes, fashion design training, and a formative summer course in Como, Italy. During her students age, her paintings have been always put in the backboard of the classes and get appreciation by her teachers.
Her family could not spend too much resources to cultivate her development in arts in her childhood and for living, she forfeit the choice of career development in ARTs.
But she has never stopped herself to get involved in Arts appreciation at her younger age. During Covid, by chance once she checked out her previous painting at her early 20's, she finally decide to build up her career in ARTS during her retiring age.
In order to pursue a professional skill set and provoke creativity , she is studying a diploma in New Ink Art at the Chinese University (School of Continuing and Professional Studies).
