About this artwork
This work is created in homemade watercolor from Azurite pigments found locally in France. What better way than this luxurious pigment, being such a cat lover, to capture their omnipresence in the streets of Cyprus? This almost mystical presence rubs shoulders with the ephemeral: it stoically wears the feather boa of carnival evenings. The natural and the cultural merge, the dream rubs shoulders with the real. This piece will bring an atmosphere…
of serenity and contemplation to your space.

« Exploring the abilities of meeting materials and cultures. »
Itinerant sculptor absorbed by the East where she regularly lives and works since 1996. Is important to her the moment of the passage between continents and cultures, dynamic "Pont Euxin" of the human kind. It is indeed the moment of encounter with people or with the eloquent materials of the world that is creative.
"Listening to the melodies of the Earth, and apart from big size sculptures, I find locally, cut and polish marble and fine stones, in a concern not to participate (too much) in the exploitation of humans and materials. And because this "method" allows me to find the chosen pieces of stone that resonate with the preconceived bronzes. They are stories of itineraries made to meet".
From the bio-sourced stones and precious stones, she keeps colorful pigments that enter into her watercolors drawings.
Thus her sculptures are part of private collections or are in public places in France, Italy, Germany, Japan, Syria, India, Ireland, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt.
