About this artwork
Kolibrierne – Hummingbirds of Light
This artwork began as a print of my original painting and was later transformed by hand with layers of paint, texture, and delicate gold leaf, making each piece unique. By painting directly onto the print, I blend the worlds of fine art printmaking and original painting, allowing the artwork to evolve intuitively during the creative process.
The hummingbirds symbolize joy, freedom, and living light, meeting within… a vibrant portal of colour and energy. The shimmering gold details shift beautifully with the light, adding warmth, movement, and depth to the piece.
Created to bring harmony, vitality, and uplifting energy into a space, this artwork invites the viewer into a world of beauty, renewal, and gentle transformation.
