About this artwork
My style is to scratch inkjet printed metal plates with my hands. These metal scratches sometimes become drawn lines and sometimes become textures, creating expressions unique to me that no one has ever seen before. The scratches created by breaking become beautiful art materials. Because this work uses a aluminum plate, the metal scratches give off a silvery shine.
This work is inspired by a rainy alley in Paris. It is a memory of a rainy day shining… silver.
