About this artwork
This painting is part of abstract colure series entitled "Rhythms for Life". The style inspired by series Water Lilies by Claude Monet . I paint with techniques wet on wet. I meditate on the movement of my brushstrokes and the water falling on canvas, this provokes feelings of fluidity and serenity. I loves the way the images appear by the accident of nature.

« My paintings are a journey from no-where to Now-Here. »
Graduated from the Beaux-arts of Versailles, France, Tamhuy mixes various influences from impressionism to abstraction. Inspired by artists such as Claude Monet, Zao Wou Ki, William Turner, Joan Mitchell and Kikuo Saito, as well as nature and Buddhist concepts, Tamhuy's paintings express his own spiritual journey.
Focusing on the pictorial gesture, in his works, forms and colors interweave in meditative and communicative aura.
