About this artwork
In this piece, I poured deep emotions into vibrant acrylics by blending abstract and impressionistic forms. It’s a celebration of inner growth and resilience, symbolised by blooming flowers emerging from within. This artwork invites viewers to feel empowerment and serenity, bringing a lively yet calming energy that transforms any space into a sanctuary of hope and beauty. I leveraged a combination of blues, crimson, mauve, gold and white to create… the flowers and to create a contrast with the subtle beige of the face. Texture was created using layers of paint and the palette knife to give the painting depth and a 3-dimensional feel.
