My name is Tanja Frost, and I’m an artist based in Slovakia. Originally an aerospace design engineer, I found my true path in painting after moving to Europe over 18 years ago. I studied Fine Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, where I earned my degree and fully embraced my artistic calling.
My style blends realistic detail with impressionistic emotion, inspired by the quiet strength and beauty of nature. Each painting reflects a mosaic of experiences from different cultures and inner worlds, connecting Eastern sensitivity, Western freedom, and deep spiritual harmony with the natural world.
Oil paint is my chosen medium – it holds the energy and layering I pour into each canvas and preserves the vibrancy of colors for decades. Through my work, I hope to offer more than visual beauty: a sense of peace, freedom, and connection that brings a little more harmony to people’s lives and homes.
