About this artwork
From my perspective as an artist, this work addresses identity not as a fixed image, but as a fluid, inner state. The figure appears doubled and slightly offset – for me, a symbol of how we simultaneously experience ourselves and are perceived from the outside. Presence and withdrawal exist side by side without dissolving.
I deliberately combine the photographic fragments with calm, pastel layers of color. These color spaces represent inner levels:… memories, feelings, sanctuaries. They support the figure without defining it, and open a silent dialogue between body and environment.
I am interested in the in-between moment – between strength and vulnerability, visibility and concealment. I understand femininity here as a process: open, mutable, not yet complete. The work invites us to understand ambiguity not as insecurity, but as inner strength, and to recognize ourselves in this multifaceted nature.
My work moves between an intuitive process and a clearly defined conceptual framework.
In the Zenpolychromos series, I explore color as an energetic field in which feeling, consciousness, and structure merge. Color determines the rhythm of my painting; its energy opens a space between movement and stillness. Through layering, fragmentation, and gestural placements, a dialogue emerges between presence and emotion. Each work is an act of listening—a process in which color becomes vibration and perception translates into form.
In the collage series Fragmented Being, I explore identity as something incomplete. Figures, urban spaces, and pictorial elements are detached from their original context and reassembled. I understand the fragment not as a loss, but as a space of possibility in which perception, memory, and inner experience overlap.
