Phoenix Stories II (2024) is part of my ongoing series exploring transformation and inner renewal. At the center of this work is the portrait of a phoenix, reduced to its expressive head. A warm orange circle frames the figure, creating a calm yet powerful presence within the composition.
Created in December 2024, the painting is primarily executed in acrylic on canvas and enhanced with gold leaf. The golden rays and dots respond sensitively to light,… subtly changing the atmosphere of the piece depending on the time of day and its surroundings.
The phoenix symbolizes rebirth, resilience, and the strength to rise from experience renewed. This work serves as a reminder that every transformation carries the promise of a new beginning.
