About this artwork

“Fractured Grace” reflects the quiet power found in imperfection — a form of beauty made visible only after breaking.
Created through the physical act of tearing and reassembling painted fragments on a dark surface, the work transforms rupture into a gesture of healing. Each fragment holds a memory, a choice, a moment of becoming. The exposed edges trace the architecture of lived experience, where softness and strength coexist without apology.

The… figure emerges not in spite of the cracks, but through them — illuminated by the resilience that forms when a person gathers themselves back together. The dark background becomes the space of introspection, a silent void in which her new shape takes form.
