About this artwork

"Lanzarote" is a piece where I aimed to capture the raw essence of the volcanic island through vibrant acrylics. I was drawn to the island’s dramatic landscape and the powerful forces that shaped it. Fiery reds and yellows pulse with energy, reflecting the island's volcanic origins, while earthy terracotta tones bring a sense of groundedness and resilience.

As I worked on this piece, I focused on the dynamic interplay of colors to evoke both the… intensity and its quiet strength. Lanzarote is my interpretation of nature’s power—an exploration of how something so fierce can also be deeply beautiful.

This piece was featured during Art Basel Miami 2023 as part of Art Hearts Fashion.

Tatyana Bondarenko is an abstract expressionist and visual designer with over 15 years of professional experience in graphic design and a degree from the Institute of Design and Advertisement in Moscow, Russia.

Guided by intuition, her work explores the subconscious through layers of color, movement, and sensation, serving as an outlet for self-expression and emotional release. Influenced by her upbringing in a culture that valued restraint, Tatyana turned to painting to articulate her inner world with honesty and clarity. Her dynamic compositions, created using a dripping technique, evoke depth, spontaneity, and an almost hypnotic allure.

Each piece serves as a psychological mirror, reflecting the complexity and uniqueness of the human inner landscape.
