About this artwork

The deepest night sky reveals the brightest stars, and it swells my heart with pleasure. So, like Caravaggio once did, I laid a base layer of dense black acrylic, onto which the colored light strongly glows. The transparencies are inspired to the Northern Lights and the primitive shapes compose a scene that symbolically represents the eternal evolution of man from a tiny seed to a conscious creature of action in the future.
