About this artwork
Born in the year following COVID, this work emerges as an act of hope and renewal—an intuitive gesture reflecting the need to connect, celebrate, and rebuild life through joy and positive energy.
Deep blue tones dominate the piece, creating a universe that invites immersion in its layers of color and texture. The power of graffiti intertwines with inspiring words such as “Yoga,” “Life,” and “Smile,” while the message “Building a New World” pulses… through every stroke. Each mark is a heartbeat of life, a gesture of freedom and vitality, conveying movement and emotion in a powerful and immediate way.
Life, Yoga, Smile invites viewers to open their hearts, inspire joy and hope, and connect with the universal energy of renewal and creation. It is a visual call to live fully, to smile, and to build a brighter world, celebrating every moment with presence and gratitude.

My creative journey was born from a profound search for balance during one of the most challenging moments in our collective history: lockdown.
I believe in the transformative power of art.
"It all started when I dropped a wine bottle on a white wall during lockdown. I didn't have any paintbrushes and couldn't go out and get them, so I grabbed a shoe sponge and some acrylic to cover the stain."
Mila Hurtado primarily uses acrylic, watercolor, and mixed media on canvas, blending her experience as a yoga teacher and artist to create deeply spiritual works.
Her abstract, energetic, and colorful style is based on intuition, gestures, and inner vibration, where colors and textures are born from the present moment and the most authentic emotions.
His works transmit a healing vital energy, inviting inner connection, freedom, and the vibrant presence of the soul.
