About this artwork
I created this painting as a tribute to the band Daft Punk, following their split. I wanted to retrace through it the iconic songs that have marked generations and made the whole world dance. The choice of gold is not insignificant: it symbolizes, in my opinion, the pop and punk DNA of the duo, a timeless brilliance that continues to shine even after their breakup. I wanted the color to convey the joy, energy, and festive spirit that Daft Punk has…
always shared. This work is both a vibrant memory and a celebration: it embodies music, partying, and emotion. More than a painting, it is a piece of musical history that I wanted to capture on canvas.
