About this artwork
I believe that our inner peace depends on our ability to exist in harmony with our past and future. Happiness becomes possible once we fully accept what has happened and stop worrying about what is to come. This work represents the dance of thought linking all three aspects of time. A thought, completely free of judgment, worry, and anxiety. One figure looks back, another faces forward, and the third connects them in the present moment. All three… exist in motion, harmony, light, and balance.
Tiana Diakova, a Belarusian artist, primarily uses graphite, oil, and unique materials, like transparent plastic sheets. Informed by her background in classical painting and graphic design, she mixes life studies, plein air work, and intuitive painting, blending abstract and figurative elements with human form at the core. Her work resonates deeply with themes of transformation, lightness, and a shift from matter to energy, seeking to encapsulate the dynamic, ever-changing nature of existence.
