Hands reach, resist, and hesitate gestures that suggest both connection and defense. The composition amplifies a sense of psychological conflict, where closeness becomes unstable… and touch carries ambiguity.
The contrast between warm and cold tones reinforces this duality, evoking themes of vulnerability, control, and the shifting boundaries between self and other.
This work explores the delicate threshold where intimacy transforms into tension, inviting the viewer to question whether the figures are drawn together or pulling apart.
