About this artwork
Each scar is a frozen block of pain that does not reach critical consciousness, it remains just below the conscious surface.
Man has a multidimensional constitution. Not only physical, but also emotional, mental, soul. We are an integrated, interconnected and complex unit.
Every scar, especially if traumatic, breaks the communication network that unites every cell and every organ in the body.
The cut of the scalpel creates, on an unconscious level,… a memory of the traumatic event.
A mess of emotions that is concentrated in the focal point of the trauma and that radiates and involves the whole organism.
We must not only heal the scars of the body, but also take care of those that are not seen: the scars of the soul.
« Come with me! I will take you to where color flows and blends with emotions, where emotions slide, one inside of the other. »
Tiziana Adreani is an Italy-based artist whose works have been exhibited nationally. Through color, Adreani lets her soul "flow freely", making her emotions, visions and dreams live and vibrate. She describes her creative process as a "stream of liquid consciousness" translated through fluid colors, which allow her to express her idea of beauty and harmony.
