About this artwork
The door is open at night, in the morning and in the afternoon. It is the last door that leads us to the sweet afternoon, where the hours pass slowly, hours of serenity and reflection. The different coloured stripes are the basis of this composition which describes the passage of time, day, night, morning, afternoon... An enigmatic open door and the perspective of a narrow street are the only two signs of reality in this semi-abstract canvas.
