The artwork is inspired by illegal street art on city walls , which are covered with multiple layers of advertisements, posters, flyers, drawings and graffiti tags. The walls are often repainted in order to clean them out, but some layers can still break through the white paint. The wall lives it's own life and never stops changing. It becomes an unending urban piece of art. The artist's goal is to transfer the image of a street art wall onto the… canvas. The painting is made by creating many layers of various media that overlap each other. To create the artwork the author uses various materials like acrylic paint, spray paint, pencil, pastels, markers, scraps of paper ripped out of newspapers and pieces of fabric fixed to the canvas.
« In my paintings, I want to bring my passion for humanity, architecture, and cities, with their urban art vibe, into the canvas. »
