In creating this piece, I explored the dynamic interplay of identity and anonymity using acrylics, oils, pastels, and spray paint. This portrait, blurring the lines between abstract and semi-abstract, challenges the viewer to consider the fragmented… self and the facades we present to the world. The dark backdrop contrasts sharply with the vivid, chaotic strokes on the figure, evoking a sense of hidden depths and unspoken narratives. This artwork invites introspection and discussion, making it a powerful, thought-provoking addition to any space.
