About this artwork
Modern Equilibrium is a large-scale abstract diptych exploring balance, structure, and visual tension through modern geometric forms. The artwork consists of two panels, each measuring 30 × 48 inches, with a total size of 60 × 48 inches, designed to function as one cohesive composition.
The work was inspired by architectural rhythms and the idea of equilibrium between opposing forces — softness and structure, movement and stillness, light and depth.… Through layered shapes and carefully measured proportions, the composition creates a sense of harmony while maintaining a dynamic, contemporary presence.
Mixed media was chosen to enhance texture and dimensionality, giving the surface a subtle three-dimensional quality that responds to light from different angles. The modern abstract style allows the piece to integrate seamlessly into contemporary and curated interiors, while the large scale makes it a strong statement artwork for spacious environments
