This work is a tribute to the Murcian town of Calasparra (South of Spain)
The world-renowned Calasparra bullfights are famous for exhibiting well-bred and intact bulls at their festivals.
This work reflects the pure essence of Calasparra.
A bull that looks defiantly at the viewer.
The bull's gaze also shows its nobility: Fury and Nobility, a duality that has always characterized the fighting bull.
The work, from the beginning, was painted… live at the Riopar Art Fair, with the author explaining to the audience the entire pictorial process in which the work was developed.
This painting takes on connotations of the tenebrist school of artists, while at the same time, touches of magical realism can be appreciated in its atmosphere.

Toro Tribal is an experienced artist based in Spain whose paintings have been widely exhibited nationally. Creating in a diverse style that oscilates between figuration, hyperrealism, and abstraction, he cites the bull and everything that surrounds it as being "the fruit" of his inspiration. In his artistic process, Tribal most often creates with oils, acrylics, and wax on wood or cardboard.
