About this artwork
Poseidon for the Hellenes, god of the Seas, son of Cronos and brother of Zeus.
Toro Tribal is fascinated by everything that surrounds Greek culture.
On this occasion he uses as inspiration a work by the French sculptor Adam Lambert, which represents the bust of Poseidon.
Using acrylic and metallic pigments on canvas, this painter expresses the gesture of a god who, in his most amiable version, was conceived as the creator of new islands, as well… as the solicitor of calm seas. However, when Poseidon got angry or was ignored, he would split the ground with his trident and cause earthquakes, sinks and shipwrecks.

Hear us, oh great Poseidon,
sovereign of all seas,
lord of the blue hair,
you who move the earth.
Appease the mighty trident,
what in your honor,
we will surrender this hecatomb.
