About this artwork
This is an oil painting titled Leaning Against a Picnic Table. It's a figurative painting that captures a soft, hazy scene of a person in profile leaning against a table. This painting is built through, thin overlapping layers of color, creating a dreamlike or memory-like quality. The paint is applied with vigorous, sketching motions, giving the figure and background a sense of movement. The work uses a muted yet rich palette of sage greens, earthy… browns, and soft creams, with subtle hints of deep red and blue. The figurative element is intimate, human - a silent conversation with oneself. My art is an invitation to pause, to find serenity amidst life's bustle, bringing a soothing, reflective energy to your space. The frame is constructed from solid Walnut. Ready to hang by wire.
