About this artwork
When I placed the first strokes on the canvas, I wasn’t painting a specific form—I was letting my emotions guide me. I wanted to capture the feeling of spring gently touching the soul—soft, elusive, yet radiant. Spring is not just about blooming flowers or warm sunlight; it is the harmony of countless tiny colors, each small but full of life.
This painting is a burst of emotions, shimmering like pollen drifting in the wind. Each tiny dot is a breath,… a fleeting moment of spring spreading through the air. I chose shades of white, pink, purple, and blue to evoke the season's purity, tenderness, and depth. That cloud of colors seems to float, gradually dissolving into space, like a beautiful yet fragile memory.
"The Shadow of Spring" has no distinct shape, just as spring cannot be grasped by hand. It can only be felt with the heart. And I hope that when standing before this painting, everyone can find a spring of their own.
