During the winter of 2020, before the lockdown, I observed the colors in my daily life. On the subway between home and my workshop, people in colorful clothes appeared in contrast to black coats, like bursts of color that had an immediate emotional impact.
This series explores color as a subjective construct linked to memory and emotion. I examine the interference… between environment and individual, understanding identity as the sum of experiences in transformation.
“Reciprocity - Reflection of the other” proposes an analogy between chromatic interaction and human relationships, as a fusion of histories and sensibilities.
