About this artwork
In this artwork I combine abstract, minimalist and realistic elements into a dynamic composition. This image is intended to inspire the viewer to think about balance and contrast in life. It brings a powerful, thoughtful energy to any home.
In 2016, Ivo Knill, a Swiss author, invented a story based on this picture: "Two tables, a clip and happiness in one picture". It can be found, together with other stories by other authors, in the book "Die gedehnte… Zeit", published by Verlag Wolfbach Zürich (ISBN 978-3-905910-85-8)
« The banalities of everyday life, the trivial, and the unnoticed offer inexhaustible inspiration. »
Ueli Kühni is a painter and draftsman based in Switzerland whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in France and Germany. His art explores the seemingly inconsequential elements of daily life, where the ordinary is highlighted in unfamiliar contexts. Kühni's artistic process often begins with photographs, resulted in paintings that range from photorealistic to interpretative realism. He creates using acrylics on canvas.
