The swimming pool
Back then, the pool lay still in the afternoon sun. The water shimmered turquoise blue. A well-known actress was calmly swimming her laps – thoughtfully, almost reverently. No spectators, no cameras, only the gentle lapping of her movements.
The same place, years later. The pool is empty, the tiles partially chipped, the pool weathered. Leaves gather in… corners that once shone. The silence has swallowed the memory – but if you look closely, you might still detect a hint of the past.
In my 2-view images, digital art and photography merge into small, emotional stories—told in just two scenes. They inspire reflection and exploration.
Each work is mounted on zigzag aluminum profiles, allowing the viewer to see a complete image from both sides. Depending on the viewpoint, a new and exciting composition always emerges.
