With "Cult Curry" I present another image from my photo series "show window".
"Showcases" simultaneously reveal both the outside and the inside – like analog monitors filled with miniature stage sets. They present, entice, connect, invite you to linger – or stand empty and forgotten, relics from a time before e-commerce. Some tell stories: a glimpse into a café, a boutique, a barber shop, or an ice cream parlor, where life and encounters become… visible. Others obscure the view – through curtains, reflections, or closed doors – and merely mirror the world beyond. My photographs capture these fleeting moments, revealing the hidden and inviting you to embark on a visual journey of discovery.

Ulli Steinküller is a versatile artist who combines photography, graphic design and digital art. His 2SichtBilder, in which photos are laminated onto zigzag aluminum profiles, tell small stories in 2 views that constantly change depending on the viewing angle. His works, often inspired by everyday life and current news, are playgrounds for interpretation and unfold a fascinating mixture of humor, drama, seriousness and lightness.
