About this artwork
Title: Butterfly
Material: wool, polyester, wood
Using the tufting technique, I achieved a three-dimensional, sculptural effect. The work depicts an abstract butterfly with large, colorful, collage-like wings.
The desire to fly represents the longing for freedom, lightness, and the overcoming of boundaries. At the same time, the impossibility of flying points to the limitations of humanity and reality. My work reflects this tension between departure… and limitation.
