About this artwork
In my impressionistic oil painting I was inspired by the beauty and mood of a coastal landscape. My favorite place on the coast. The rocky path that runs through the picture is a symbol of life's journey, which leads past calm waters and on the other hand to the open sea and across wide fields. The choice of warm earth tones brings a calming, yet at the same time invigorating energy to any room in which the work hangs.
